Set up Gamma IPTV on a Samsung or LG Smart TV
Samsung and LG Smart TVs can play Gamma IPTV without an extra device. You install a compatible player from the TV’s app store, then link it to your account.
What you need
- Your Samsung & LG Smart TVs connected to the internet
- Your Gamma IPTV login details from the dashboard (no account yet? start the free trial)
- One of these player apps: IBO Player, Smart IPTV players available in your TV store
Step-by-step setup

Open your TV’s app store
On Samsung open Apps; on LG open the LG Content Store. Make sure the TV is connected to the internet and its software is up to date.

Install a compatible player
Search for the player listed on your dashboard. Some Smart TV players charge a small one-time activation fee per TV. That fee goes to the app developer, not to Gamma IPTV.

Note the TV’s device ID
Most Smart TV players show a MAC address or device key on first launch. Write it down.

Link the player to your account
Enter the device ID on the player’s website or send it to our support team, together with your Gamma IPTV login, and the channels appear on the TV after a restart of the app.
Tips for a smooth picture
Older TVs
Smart TVs older than about 2018 may not run current players. A Firestick or Google TV stick is the most reliable fix.
Smart TV setup: common questions
Do I need a Firestick if I have a Samsung or LG Smart TV?
Not necessarily. A compatible player from your TV’s app store works on most models from about 2018 onwards. A streaming stick gives you more player choices and is often faster.
Why does the Smart TV player ask for a fee?
Some Smart TV players charge a one-time activation fee per TV. That fee goes to the app developer. Gamma IPTV’s price does not include it.
Still stuck?
