How Gamma IPTV works, start to finish
No installer visit, no box to rent. Here is every step between creating an account and watching live TV, and what is happening behind the screen.
Four steps to your first channel
1. Create a free account
Sign up with your name, email and a password. It takes about a minute and does not ask for a card.
2. Request the 24-hour trial
Tell us which device you use. When the trial is ready, your login details appear in your dashboard and we email you.
3. Install a player and sign in
Install the player app we recommend for your device and enter the server URL, username and password.
4. Pick a plan if you like it
Choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months and how many devices. Your trial login keeps working, so there is nothing to reinstall.
What happens behind the screen
IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television. Instead of arriving through a coaxial cable or a dish, each channel travels to your home as data over the same broadband line you use for everything else.
When you choose a channel in your player app, the app asks the Gamma IPTV servers for that stream using your login. The servers check that your account is active and that you are within your device limit, then start sending the video. Your player turns that data back into a picture, a bit like a web browser turns code into a page.
The TV guide works the same way. Your player downloads the guide data separately and lines it up with the channel list, which is why the guide can take a minute longer to appear the first time you sign in. What you need at home
- A broadband connection. Around 25 Mbps comfortably covers one HD stream with room to spare; more screens need more. See internet speed for IPTV.
- A device to watch on: Firestick, Android TV box, Smart TV, Apple TV, phone, tablet or computer.
- A free or low-cost player app, or just a web browser for the web player.
Your account, your dashboard
Everything lives in one place: your dashboard. That is where you request the trial, see your login details, choose a plan and come back when it is time to renew. If you forget your password, reset it from the forgot password page.

Questions about how it works
How long does it take to get my trial login?
Trial requests are reviewed by a person, usually within a few hours during support hours. You get an email as soon as the login details are in your dashboard.
Do I need a satellite dish or antenna?
No. Gamma IPTV uses your home internet connection. You only need a TV device such as a Firestick, Smart TV or Android TV box, or a phone or computer.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your login stops working at the end of the term. Renew from your dashboard and the same login details keep working, so you do not need to set anything up again.
