Which app to use with Gamma IPTV
Gamma IPTV is the service; the app is the remote control for it. You can use the player that suits your device best. Here is what we recommend for each device, and how to sign in.

Firestick and Fire TV
IPTV Smarters Pro for an easy start, or TiviMate if you want the best TV guide. Both install through the Downloader app.
Android TV and Google TV
TiviMate, installed straight from the Play Store. It handles big channel lists and the guide very well.
Samsung and LG Smart TVs
IBO Player or a similar app from your TV’s store. Some need a small yearly activation fee paid to the app maker.
Apple TV, iPhone and iPad
An IPTV player from the App Store that supports Xtream Codes logins. Our Apple TV guide lists the current options.
Android phones and tablets
IPTV Smarters Pro from the Play Store. It is simple on a small screen and supports catch-up where available.
Windows and Mac
The Gamma web player in your browser, or VLC if you prefer a desktop program. Nothing else to install.
How to sign in to any player with your Gamma IPTV login
Every player asks for the same three things. You will find them in your Gamma IPTV dashboard once your trial or plan is active:
- Server URL, sometimes called “portal” or “host”
- Username
- Password
When the app offers a choice of login type, pick Xtream Codes (some apps call it “Xtream API” or “Login with Xtream”). It brings in the channel groups, the TV guide and the movie library in one go. Use the M3U link only if your app has no Xtream option. The difference is explained in M3U vs Xtream Codes.
Type the details carefully. Most “invalid login” errors come from an extra space at the end of the password or a missing http:// at the
start of the server URL.
Choosing between two good players
If you are torn between apps, install both. They do not interfere with each other, and after one evening you will know which one you like using. People who mostly channel-surf with a TV guide tend to stick with TiviMate. People who want something simple that looks the same on the TV and the phone usually prefer IPTV Smarters Pro.

Is there an official Gamma IPTV app?
No. Gamma IPTV works with well-known player apps that you install yourself, plus a web player in the browser. That way you can pick the player that runs best on your device.
Can I use two different apps with the same login?
Yes. You can sign in to TiviMate on the living-room TV and IPTV Smarters Pro on your phone. Just remember that each screen streaming at the same time counts toward your device limit.
Do I need to pay for the player app?
Several players are free, and some offer a paid upgrade with extra features such as recording or multiple playlists. The app is paid to its developer, not to Gamma IPTV.
